Nokia Announces Words with Friends and Draw Something on the Lumia
Nokia announced today, November 12th, the availability of two games on their Lumia smartphones. Nokia Lumia owners have been waiting since this past June for Nokia to release Words with Friends and Draw Something. Finally, Nokia has made good on their promise.
Every, Nokia Lumia smartphone regardless of model now has access to Words with Friends and Draw Something. Both the Windows 7.5 and Windows 8 operating systems can run the released games. The best part of this announcement is that Nokia Lumia users will be able to download these games for free for the next two months.
Draw Something gives you a word and you have to draw something with your finger that your friends will use to guess the secret word. Draw Something has produced more than 7 billion drawings so far.
Words with Friends challenges you to out-score your friends by creating words on a grid.
To download the free games, go to the Nokia announcement web page and follow the directions to scan the two QR codes with your Nokia Lumia.
Please make sure you stop playing Words with Friends and put your Nokia Lumia away when you are taxiing or landing on a commercial flight. You might remember that Alec Baldwin was booted off an American Airlines flight on December 6, 2011 because he refused to stop playing Words with Friends on his smartphone.
